The age of this book is over six hundred years. It depicts the life of the Dwarf who aided in forging the immensely powerful “Chains of Binding”, and he was honorable enough to volunteer to stay behind and ensure the “Crimson Lord” never awoke. The journal tells of his crafting career and notes on what he learned about the way of metals. It depicts the story of the forging of Trueheart. The final entry in the journal depicts the cave in after an earthquake. Markur broke Trueheart to prevent the blade from falling into evil hands, and laid down to die.
