Sandina comes from the BeChelle family. The BeChelles are from a small country, and Sandina was their hope for a better future. Her parents had never approved of her tom-boyish behavior and tried to squash it whenever they could. At the age of sixteen Sandina was betrothed to a horrid prince. He was cruel, malicious and quite the toad. But, he was also incredibly wealthy. Sandina’s parents believed that by having their daughter marry this man it would boost the economy of their small country which is flagging. Unfortunately, Sandina uncovered a plot of the prince, that after he married her, he would bring in his entire military and have the tiny port kingdom swallowed up by the prince’s larger kingdom. Sandina loved her people (but, truly she loathed even the idea of marrying the prince), and refused to marry him. She stowed away aboard a ship, and convinced the captain to take her onboard as a deckhand. After much convincing, she was allowed to stay. She quickly learned the ropes, and over the next three years she made a few friends, a few enemies, and many stories. She has just heard about this amazing adventuring party based out of Safeton and their exploits. They have also recently acquired a FLYING SHIP!! This inspired Sandina to take her loyal companion Venn, and form a crew. She would gain captaincy of that flying ship if it is the last thing she ever does!
